Video blur questions
How do I blur a moving object in a video on iPhone?
Draw one box around it and let the app follow it. In Blurfold, put a box over the object on any frame and tap Follow this object: Blurfold looks for it on every frame and covers it as it moves. Following objects is part of Blurfold Pro, a one-time purchase, and your first three exports with an object covered are free.
What to know
- A cover that stays in one place is enough for something that does not move, such as a house number on a wall. Anything that moves has to be followed frame by frame.
- An object is easiest to follow while it stays in view. If it leaves the shot and comes back, check that it was picked up again.
- Faces, plates and readable text have their own free tools, so you do not need to follow them by hand.

How to do it with Blurfold
- Open Blurfold and pick your video.
- Draw one box over the object on any frame, then tap Follow this object.
- If it is missed on a frame, cover it on that frame and add that look to the object, so it is recognised from that side too.
- To cover every pet, car, screen, bottle or bag at once, switch that type on under Cover things by type. Then tap Export to Photos.
