Video blur questions
How do I blur part of a video on iPhone?
Put a cover over that part and choose when it starts and ends. Photos on iPhone has no tool to blur a chosen part of a video. In Blurfold, tap Add a cover, drag it over the area and resize it: it stays for the whole clip, or you can set Starts here and Ends here to cover only a stretch. Faces, plates and text can also be found and covered for you. It is free, with no watermark.
What to know
- Photos on iPhone edits a video’s length, light, colour and framing. It has no tool to blur or cover a chosen part of the picture.
- A fixed cover suits something that stays in one place. For something that moves, follow it, or use the automatic face and text covering.
- Covering part of a video makes a new copy. The original stays in your library unchanged.

Is it free?
